The VETEREA project aims to create an advanced digital twin that connects the modern city of Santa Maria Capua Vetere with its ancient counterpart, Capua Vetere. Through a Phygital Reality model, the APP-IA app combines physical and digital elements for an immersive enjoyment of the submerged archaeological heritage.
Goal: make the ancient city accessible to tourists and scholars through interactive digital experiences.
Funding
The project is funded by SISSA within the iNEST innovation ecosystem, a strategic initiative for developing new technologies applied to the enhancement of cultural heritage.
