INSILICOFFEE is an innovative project that revolutionises the coffee sector through digital simulation and AI. The initiative introduces an advanced Digital Twin system to optimise roasting and percolation processes, enabling a precise personalisation of the consumption experience and real-time control over product quality.
Objective: to personalise the coffee consumption experience, improve its quality and sustainability.
The project has received significant recognition, winning the public tender in the context of Spoke 9 “Digital Society & Smart City” of the National Centre “National Centre for HPC, Big Data and Quantum Computing”, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) - NextGenerationEU. This initiative is part of the mission to enhance research infrastructures and create innovative models of industrial digitalisation.
