CTE “Infiniti Mondi – Napoli Innovation City”: applications open for the “Premio Infiniti Mondi”

The Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti “Infiniti Mondi – Napoli Innovation City” is a project of the Municipality of Naples, financed by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, aiming to provide companies with an innovation centre specialising in Metaverse, Web 3.0, Gaming/Gamification, Digital Storytelling, Quantum Computing, and 5G, to develop and test products, processes, services, startups, and new business models in the field of Cultural and Creative Industries.

For the CTE project, the Municipality of Naples leads a partnership comprising the Universities of Naples Federico II and L’Orientale, the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples, the Cefriel Digital Innovation Centre of the Politecnico di Milano, the MedITech 4.0, Cnr – Institute of Cultural Heritage Sciences and CeRICT Scarl research and innovation centres, and innovative companies like Tim, Spicy, and One More.

The award

The Infiniti Mondi Award was created to enhance and encourage cultural and creative companies operating at the intersection of creativity, culture, and emerging technologies, strengthening the sector's competitiveness and encouraging the creation of new business models. 

The initiative aims to promote the innovative potential of cultural and creative industries, encouraging the implementation of sustainable projects, the creation of networks between companies and institutions, and the development of paths capable of generating a positive impact on the territory and the community. 

The Award will be contested by 20 companies that will be selected by a panel of experts.

Recipients

The Award is aimed at micro and small enterprises with operational headquarters in the Metropolitan Area of Naples, with at least one approved balance sheet, and active in various sectors of cultural and creative industries. The sectors involved include:

• Performing arts

• Artistic and traditional craftsmanship

• Audio-visual and Media

• Design and fashion

• Publishing

• Gaming and gamification

• New craftsmanship

• Enhancement of cultural heritage

  
  

It is possible to apply:

• projects of product, service, and process innovation

• craft production of artefacts

utilising emerging technologies such as Metaverse, Web 3.0, gaming and gamification, digital storytelling, 5G, artificial intelligence; applications of 3D modelling and digital fabrication.

Prizes and recognitions up for grabs

• Innovation Award in the cultural and creative field will award the winner a financial contribution of 2,500 euros, as well as visibility on institutional channels.

• Tradition Enhancement Award will award the winner a financial contribution of 2,500 euros, as well as visibility on institutional channels.

The cash prizes will be awarded to the winners thanks to the contribution of private sponsors.

All finalist companies will also have the opportunity to access the final contest, gaining public visibility, networking opportunities, and direct contacts with stakeholders in the cultural and creative sector. 

Deadline and application methods

The submission of applications must be made by the Proposer no later than 16/11/2025, exclusively through the completion of the Application Form (Annex A) and sent via PEC to the address: spici@pec.it, indicating in the subject: “Infiniti Mondi Award – Application”, along with the following documents: 

• company registration certificate

• most recent approved financial statement

• brief description of the product, service, and process innovation project (up to 3,000 characters)

• any links to supporting multimedia materials (images, videos, or demos).
