SPICI is an innovative startup founded by a group of managers, academics, and professionals in the fields of scientific research, digitalisation, business creation, and international development.

The true social capital of the company is its Members: internationally renowned personalities, innovators who have often anticipated trends in the economy and technology. Additionally, SPICI counts among its members leading companies, leaders in their own sectors.

Spici is a workshop for the design and development of tailor-made apps and innovative digital solutions, capable of addressing the challenges of digital transformation for enterprises and Public Administration. Priority areas of SPICI's operations include the sectors of Cultural and Creative Industries and the Green Transition, with a specific focus on the Digital economy, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cybersecurity.

SPICI also serves as a hub for innovation and an international accelerator, designing and supporting programs of scientific cooperation, entrepreneurial development, technology transfer, and internationalisation for startups, university spinoffs, and innovative SMEs.

The innovation of SPICI lies in offering 'integrated' technological and consultancy services with an open innovation perspective, responding multidimensionally to the needs of clients, both public and private, who simultaneously require embarking on a digital and organisational transformation process, innovating their offerings and content, and opening up to an international dimension.

SPICI's Management implements a quality policy following the criteria and prescriptions dictated by the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard, as a tool that can allow for continuous performance improvements, optimisation of human resource management, and achieving greater visibility and reliability on a national and international scale. These requirements will be satisfied throughout the validity period of the certification.

Acknowledging the context in which it operates and the associated risks, SPICI aims to position itself as a reference centre in the regional, national, and international digital innovation ecosystem, with the following general objectives:

  • design and develop products and services for the digital transformation of businesses and the PA

  • Design and develop acceleration programmes in open innovation for large companies and multinationals;

  • Design and manage international programmes of scientific cooperation, entrepreneurial development, technology transfer, and internationalization for startups, university spinoffs, and innovative SMEs;

  • promote advanced training in the field of new technologies by designing and participating in the establishment of Academies and collaborating with specialised academic and industrial centres;

  • design and participate in the implementation of urban and industrial regeneration programmes and projects leveraging digital innovation;

  • design and participate in programmes, projects, and initiatives for social regeneration through the promotion of digital culture;

  • use quality as a means to fully ensure services provided to the Client and to strengthen the ability to efficiently respond to current needs and the needs of internal and external Clients;

  • use the quality system as a tool to promote internal growth and as an organisational model aimed at total involvement and continuous improvement of personnel's technical skills.

These objectives are pursued through:

  • meeting Customer requests and making punctual and rational use of resources;

  • integrating into SPICI's culture the principle of continuous improvement achievable through the satisfaction of all interested parties, defining the criteria of the QMS in relation to the internal and external context in which it operates, identifying risks and opportunities;

  • enhancing and engaging personnel who, with their expertise and experiences, form SPICI's primary and irreplaceable resource;

  • developing environmental sustainability as a distinctive approach in infrastructure management, service delivery methods, and the development of innovation projects.

Management emphasises its commitment to developing and implementing the Quality Management System and continuously improving its effectiveness by verifying the achievement of predefined objectives during Management Review.
