Kick-off of the Business&Tech Acceleration Program on Gaming by CTE Napoli

On 22 September, at the Real Albergo dei Poveri, the inaugural event of the international acceleration programme dedicated to gaming and immersive experiences took place, promoted within the framework of the Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti – Infiniti Mondi – Napoli Innovation City, an initiative of the Comune di Napoli financed by the Ministero delle Imprese e del Made in Italy.

The programme is promoted by the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II and Cefriel, managed by the Fabbrica Italiana dell’Innovazione, with the collaboration of ISART Digital and the French accelerator Creative Valley.

During the opening, moderated by Luigi Amodio (SPICI), speakers included Giorgio Ventre, Nadia Scandelli, Vincenzo Lipardi, and Yann Gozlan, with institutional greetings from Lise Moutoumalaya, Consul General of France in Naples, and Elena Iafrate, Head of the Comune di Napoli.

The journey features eleven startups from different continents: Rebellion Corporation (Armenia), Green Crow Games and Bamboo Innovation Studio (Italy), Damz Studio (Algeria), Ymeta Brush (China), Meta Martin – Prëmo Inc. (Canada), Weavinsight (Singapore), Huascar Games (Brazil), Legal-Pythia (England), Team R&S Gaming (Italy) and Greta (Italy).

The companies will be supported by qualified mentors such as Yann Gozlan, Rémy Chanson, Pascal Nataf, Giannis Mylopoulos, Thanaël Fontaine, Thierry Baujard and Maxime Sauveton, and were selected by an international jury composed of leading industry experts.

For ten weeks, the startups will undergo an intensive programme of training, mentoring and international networking, with access to the CTE Napoli laboratories dedicated to gaming, digital storytelling, the metaverse, and Web3.
