Digital Adults: the Job Day Re-START in Naples opens new opportunities for training and employment

On 27 May 2025, the spaces of the Technological Hub Fabbrica Italiana dell’Innovazione, headquarters of SPICI – Società per l’Innovazione, la Cooperazione e l’Internazionalizzazione, hosted the Job Day Re-START, the concluding event of the project Adulti Digitali – Paths of Training for Employment, selected and supported by the Fondo per la Repubblica Digitale – Impresa Sociale.

An appointment of great intensity and participation, which brought together over 200 people consisting of beneficiaries of the training courses, business representatives, recruiters, trainers, and members of the institutional and academic world, all united by a concrete goal: to transform training into real and lasting professional opportunities.

A project to restart with new skills

Adulti Digitali is a national project coordinated by INDIRE, in partnership with the Department of Social Sciences of the University of Naples Federico II and with CPIA BAT “Gino Strada”, supported by a support network composed of RIDAP – Rete Italiana Istruzione degli Adulti, Rete ICT IdA, and RETAP – Rete Territoriale per l’Apprendimento Permanente della Campania.

The courses activated, free of charge and aimed at unemployed or inactive people aged between 34 and 50, were divided into three main areas:

  • Basic Digital Skills (with EIPASS certification)

  • Digital Marketing

  • Audio-visual Production

These were accompanied by transversal modules dedicated to the development of soft and life skills, individual coaching sessions, and structured work placement support activities.

An event open to dialogue between training and businesses

Job Day Re-START represented a crucial moment of connection between those who had undertaken a professional growth path and those in the productive world seeking qualified, motivated, and updated profiles. Participants had the opportunity to take part in workshops, orientation interviews, and job matching sessions with numerous local companies interested in evaluating the profiles trained during the project.

Among the companies present: Ingreen, Cultura Immersiva, GESFOR, VJLAB, Villa delle Ginestre, Villa Azzurra, IamHero, CNS Tech, Le Nuvole, Escogit@, Agilae, European Brokers Assicurazioni, Fabbrica Italiana dell’Innovazione, Smart Malico, Sicomunicazione, TILE Storytellers.

The protagonists of the meeting

Giving institutional significance and content to the event were speeches by: Annalisa Buffardi, Project Manager for Adulti Digitali at INDIRE, Luigi Amodio, Head of Education and Training at SPICI, Anne-Marie Bruyas, Head of European Projects at SPICI, Lello Savonardo, lecturer and Coordinator of the Master’s Degree in Public, Social, and Political Communication at the University of Federico II, Mario Vitolo, expert in active labor market policies.

The work was moderated by Francesca Galasso, Project Manager at SPICI, who facilitated the speeches, highlighting the dialogue between institutions, businesses, and participants.

The next meeting is scheduled for 11 June in Andria, the second leg of the Job Day dedicated to the Puglian beneficiaries of the project, to continue promoting the meeting of skills and the labor market in an increasingly digital, connected, and sustainable perspective.
