Within the activities of the Zhongguancun Enterprise Service Representative Office in Naples – Italian Office of the Beijing Municipality managed by SPICI – the call is open to promote Italian participation in the Italy–China Session on Advanced Manufacturing, within the framework of the ZGC Forum 2026, scheduled in Beijing from 25th to 29th March 2026.

The ZGC Forum is recognized as the leading Chinese event on Innovation, Science, and Technology and takes place in the Zhongguancun district, a strategic innovation hub known as the "Chinese Silicon Valley".

The Session: “Italy Digital Manufacturing Technology Roadshow and Matchmaking”

The Italy–China Session, entitled “Italy Digital Manufacturing Technology Roadshow and Matchmaking”, aims to promote Italian excellence and focuses on the convergence between Advanced Manufacturing and Digital Technologies, fostering interactions between innovative enterprises and institutional and industrial players of the Beijing ecosystem.

Who can apply

SPICI is seeking Startups, Spin-offs, and Innovative SMEs active in the Advanced Manufacturing sectors, (with applications in Digital Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and AI-driven Arts & Culture).

Opportunities for selected companies

Selected companies will have the opportunity to:

• participate in the ZGC Forum 2026;

• take part in the China–Italy Roadshow Session;

• engage in B2B matchmaking meetings;

• showcase their solutions in dedicated exhibition spaces;

• participate in visits and activities within Beijing's innovative ecosystem, as well as networking initiatives.

Expense coverage

Reimbursement is provided for travel expenses (round-trip air ticket Italy–China) up to a maximum amount of 8000 RMB (approximately €1000). Accommodation and subsistence expenses in Beijing are also covered. One representative per company is allowed.

Application methods and deadlines

Subsequently, the completion of the Form must be notified by sending an email to startup@spici.eu, attaching:

• Chamber of Commerce registration (preferably in English);

• passport copy;

• pitch deck in English.

The subject of the email should state:

“ZGC Forum 2026 China-Italy Advanced Manufacturing Session, Company Name, Expression of Interest”.

Applications will be assessed by the Forum organizers. The result will be communicated by early March 2026.
