Applications are now open for the creative call "Imagine a Growing Campania" to design the visual identity for the international event AMD 2026

What does a growing Campania look like? This is the question SPICI is posing to designers and creative professionals with the call “Imagine a Growing Campania”, aimed at selecting a project for the visual identity of the 2026 edition of Advanced Manufacturing Days (AMD).
From 10 to 12 December 2026, the Fabbrica Italiana dell’Innovazione in Naples will host a programme of international business meetings, thematic roundtables, and visits to leading industrial excellence, connecting Campania's businesses with overseas buyers, investors, and operators, particularly from China and the United Arab Emirates.
The initiative, promoted by the Regione Campania in collaboration with Sviluppo Campania and organised by SPICI, will highlight six technological and manufacturing trajectories: artificial intelligence and digital, advanced manufacturing, automotive and mobility, energy and sustainability, space, and biotechnologies.
The creative challenge
The call invites participants to visually interpret the theme “A Growing Campania”, designing an original visual identity for the 2026 edition that can depict a productive, technological territory open to international markets.
The goal is to identify a recognisable, contemporary, and versatile key visual, to be developed into a coordinated graphic system for posters, brochures, social media, presentations, and event setups, consistent with the event's existing logo and visual elements.
The proposal should convey creativity and originality, while maintaining an authoritative tone suitable for the international context of the event.
Who can participate
Participation is free of charge and open to all individuals aged 18 and over, solely on an individual basis. The call is aimed particularly at young designers, illustrators, graphic designers, and creative professionals.
Each participant may submit only one proposal, in compliance with the requirements outlined in the Regulations.
What needs to be submitted
To apply, participants must develop a creative concept consisting of an original key visual and several sample applications that showcase its potential:
An original key visual for AMD 2026.
A sample poster in 70×100 cm format.
A piece of social media content, choosing between a post and a story.
A mockup of your choice among a brochure, roll-up banner, or stage backdrop.
A summary of the graphic system, including colour palette, typography, and recurring visual elements.
A brief description of the concept, up to a maximum of 1,000 characters.
Submissions must be compiled into a single PDF file of up to 12 pages and 100 MB, in accordance with the specifications set out in the Brief (Annex A).
At this stage, the production of final artwork or production-ready materials is not required, as these will be developed subsequently by the creator of the selected proposal.
Selection and paid assignment
SPICI will evaluate proposals based on originality, communicative strength, adherence to the brief, versatility of the graphic system, consistency with the event’s visual identity, and quality of execution.
The author of the selected proposal will be awarded a paid assignment to develop the complete coordinated visual identity for the event, for a total fee of up to 2,500 euros, subject to the conditions set out in the Regulations.
The assignment, formalised through the subsequent signing of a dedicated contract, will include the development of the final communication assets, ranging from digital media to event setups.
The selected project will also be showcased across the initiative's communication channels, with proper credit given to the author.
