EXTENDED until 26 November | CTE “Infiniti Mondi – Napoli Innovation City”: applications open for the “Infiniti Mondi Award”

The deadline to apply for the “Premio Infiniti Mondi” has been extended to 26 November 2025. This initiative is promoted as part of the activities of the Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti “Infiniti Mondi – Napoli Innovation City”, a project led by the Municipality of Naples and funded by the Ministry for Enterprises and Made in Italy, to enhance cultural and creative enterprises that combine creativity, culture, and emerging technologies.
The Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti “Infiniti Mondi – Napoli Innovation City” is a project of the Municipality of Naples, funded by the Ministry for Enterprises and Made in Italy, which aims to provide companies with a specialised innovation centre on Metaverse, Web 3.0, Gaming/Gamification, Digital Storytelling, Quantum Computing, and 5G, to develop and test products, processes, services, startups, and new business models in the Cultural and Creative Industries.
For the CTE project, the Municipality of Naples is the lead of a partnership that includes the Universities of Naples Federico II and L’Orientale, the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples, the Cefriel Digital Innovation Centre of Politecnico di Milano, the MedITech 4.0 innovation centres, Cnr – Institute for Cultural Heritage Science and CeRICT Scarl, and innovative companies like Tim, Spicy, and One More.
The Award
The Premio Infiniti Mondi was created to value and encourage cultural and creative enterprises operating at the intersection of creativity, culture, and emerging technologies, strengthening the competitiveness of the sector and favouring the birth of new entrepreneurial models.
The initiative aims to promote the innovative potential of cultural and creative industries, encouraging the realization of sustainable projects, the creation of networks between companies and institutions, and the development of paths capable of generating a positive impact on the territory and the community.
The Prize will be contested by 20 companies that will be selected by a panel of experts.
Recipients
The Prize is intended for micro and small enterprises with an operational headquarters in the Metropolitan Area of Naples, with at least one approved financial statement, and active in various areas of cultural and creative industries. The sectors of interest include:
Performing Arts
Artistic and Traditional Crafts
Audio-visual and Media
Design and Fashion
Publishing
Gaming and Gamification
New Crafts
Enhancement of Cultural Heritage
Eligible initiatives include:
product, service, and process innovation projects
artisanal production of artefacts
utilizing emerging technologies such as Metaverse, Web 3.0, gaming and gamification, digital storytelling, 5G, artificial intelligence; as well as 3D modelling and digital fabrication applications.
Prizes and Awards
Innovation Prize in cultural and creative fields will grant the winner a financial contribution of 2,500 euros, along with visibility on institutional channels.
Tradition Valorization Prize will grant the winner a financial contribution of 2,500 euros, along with visibility on institutional channels.
The cash prizes will be awarded to the winners thanks to contributions from private sponsors.
All the finalist companies will also have the opportunity to enter the final contest, gaining public visibility, networking opportunities, and direct contacts with stakeholders in the cultural and creative sector.
Deadline and Application Process
Applications must be submitted by the Proponent no later than 26/11/2025, exclusively by completing the Application Form (Annex A) and sending it via PEC to the address: spici@pec.it, with the subject: “Premio Infiniti Mondi – Application”, along with the following documents:
chamber of commerce registration
latest approved financial statement
brief description of the product, service, or process innovation project (up to 3,000 characters)
any links to supporting multimedia materials (images, videos, or demos).
