PROJECT DURATION
2024 - Training course: 800 total hours
SPICI collaborated on the training course for Virtual Reality Designer, a training program of 800 hours organized by the Training Entity GESCO – Consorzio di Cooperative Sociali – Società Cooperativa Sociale. The course was designed to provide students with advanced skills in the design and development of virtual reality (VR) applications, preparing participants to tackle the challenges of a continuously evolving sector.
As part of the course, SPICI conducted specialized lectures on the design and development of virtual environments, with a focus on Unity, the leading development engine for creating immersive experiences. The training sessions covered key aspects such as interactive design, performance optimization, and the integration of virtual reality in different application contexts, including gaming, simulation, and corporate training.
In addition to classroom training, SPICI hosted some students for an internship, offering them the opportunity to apply the skills acquired in real projects. During the internship, students worked on the creation of a virtual environment in Unity, enhancing their practical experience in the sector and gaining familiarity with the workflow of a VR development studio.
This collaboration represented a significant opportunity for professional growth for the participants, allowing them to approach the world of work with solid technical and design preparation.
Role of SPICI:
SPICI contributed to the course by providing specialized lessons on virtual reality and hosting students for an internship in which they developed a VR environment with Unity.
