Global Game Jam – San Juan Jalapeño

On the occasion of the Global Game Jam 2024, SPICI marked its official debut in the video game and serious games sector by participating in the international contest and creating San Juan Jalapeño, an endless game with dynamic and progressive gameplay. The game, developed within 48 hours, challenges players to overcome increasingly complex levels by combining elements of action, humour, and fast-paced rhythm. The participation is part of a broader strategic vision aimed at consolidating a centre of excellence and support for the development of skills, businesses, and technologies in the world of gaming and gamification.

Role of SPICI:

Through participation in the Global Game Jam, SPICI has launched a new line of activities in the video game sector, consistent with its mission and the activation of the Gaming and Digital Storytelling Laboratories within the framework of the Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti di Napoli – “Infiniti Mondi” project, promoted by the Municipality of Naples and financed by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy.
