Officina Digitale is the advanced technology workshop of SPICI, specializing in the development of digital solutions and products with high innovative content for startups, businesses, and public administrations. In its laboratories, platforms, applications, and systems based on artificial intelligence, cloud, IoT, and Industry 4.0 are experimented with, integrating the languages of gaming and digital storytelling to create interactive and engaging experiences. The team, composed of technology managers, developers, and designers, operates with agile methodologies and innovative approaches, guiding partners through all phases of digital transformation: from needs analysis to design, from prototype development to validation in real-world contexts.
European Projects and Internationalisation
European Projects and Internationalisation is the division that opens SPICI to the world and connects territories, institutions, and enterprises beyond national borders. Through the design and management of European initiatives and international cooperation programmes, the division supports universities, research centres, public and private entities in strengthening their global presence. It also provides specialist assistance in drafting European and international tenders, building partnerships, and managing the technical-administrative aspects of projects, ensuring quality and compliance at every stage. It promotes strategic partnerships, builds joint laboratories and assists companies and startups in accessing new markets, facilitating entry into international innovation ecosystems. It operates in diverse contexts – from Europe to China, from the United States to the Middle East – generating concrete opportunities for growth and collaboration.

Education, Training & Social Innovation is the department that explores the relationship between technology and society, with the aim of creating inclusive and sustainable growth paths for people and communities. It designs educational programs and training initiatives that develop digital and entrepreneurial skills, reduce educational poverty, and enhance the talents of young people and adults.
