Creative Startup Lab: the Hackathon that transforms ideas into innovation

The Creative Startup Lab, a training course dedicated to innovation and youth entrepreneurship within the creative industries, has reached a new milestone with the third working session, which took place yesterday, 27 January 2025, at the Event Hall of the Fabbrica Italiana dell'Innovazione Technology Hub. The participants took part in a Hackathon, an intensive experience that challenged them in designing and developing their entrepreneurial ideas.

An Hackathon to turn ideas into concrete projects

The meeting had the young attendees divided into five teams, each engaged in creating the Model Canvas of a startup operating in one of the following sectors:

• Tourism

• Cultural Heritage

• Audiovisual and Digital Storytelling

• Fashion

• Performing Arts

Through this methodology, the participants had the opportunity to explore the key elements of designing an innovative business, working on strategic aspects such as the value proposition, target audience, and economic sustainability model.

The Creative Startup Lab is part of Creative - Metropolitan Festival of Youth Cultures, an initiative promoted by the Metropolitan City of Naples and the Teatro di San Carlo Foundation, with the support of the University of Naples Federico II and Officine San Carlo. The project aims to foster talent and innovation as tools for territorial growth, offering young participants concrete training and networking opportunities in the world of creative industries.

Next step: who is the ideal client?

Next Monday, the participants will continue the course with a lesson dedicated to the Buyer Persona, led by Paolo Fiorentino. This session will be an opportunity to delve into market analysis strategies and to better understand the needs of their target audience, thereby refining the business ideas developed during the Hackathon.
