The Call for Proposals for EST Napoli Innovation Festival 2026, the Innovation Festival in East Naples, has come to a close.

A heartfelt "THANK YOU!" to the universities, research bodies, associations, foundations, schools, startups, cultural institutions, and local organisations who responded with enthusiasm by applying to help build the programme.

The many projects received confirm the value of a shared journey, created to establish an open space to enhance the San Giovanni a Teduccio ecosystem and strengthen East Naples as an innovation district.

What happens now?

With the closing of the Call, the selection phase begins: the Selection Committee is already at work evaluating the proposals received. The objective is to design an outstanding programme of events that, through talks, workshops, laboratories, installations, exhibitions, and immersive performances, will bring the three-day event to life.

Before the summer break, the proponents of the selected ideas will receive a dedicated communication to jointly define all the technical and organisational aspects concerning their participation.

All selected projects will come together in the event to be held from 22 to 24 October 2026 at the Polo Tecnologico Fabbrica Italiana dell'Innovazione - via Ponte dei Granili n.32, Naples. An event designed to promote dialogue, experimentation, and active participation among institutions, communities, and citizens.

EST – Napoli Innovation Festival is one of the 55 projects selected by the "Cultura Napoli 2026" call, strongly supported by the Mayor Gaetano Manfredi, with the aim of establishing East Naples as an innovation district.

The initiative is promoted and co-funded by the Comune di Napoli as part of the 2026/2027 cultural programming, conceived and organised by SPICI, in partnership with Fabbrica Italiana dell'Innovazione.
