Training activities of SPICI related to the “Artificial Intelligence & New Professions” program are currently underway in Meta di Sorrento, aimed at students of Liceo Classico Linguistico Computazionale “Publio Virgilio Marone”.

The programme, consisting of 30 total hours, was developed and organised by SPICI srl, with the aim of guiding students in understanding the ongoing transformations in the world of work and skills, increasingly influenced by the adoption of digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence.

The course combines theoretical modules, laboratory activities, and moments of discussion, addressing key topics such as:

• the basics of Artificial Intelligence and machine learning models;

• the evolution towards agentic AI systems;

• the impact of AI on decision-making, organisational and creative processes;

• the ethical, social and cultural implications of technological innovation.

A qualifying element of the programme is its strong experiential orientation. In this context, the visit to the Polo Tecnologico Fabbrica Italiana dell’Innovazione took place on Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 February, a certified incubator of which SPICI – Digital Innovation Hub and Training Center – is a member.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to engage directly with the innovation ecosystem, meeting startups and innovative companies – including the teams of VulcanicaMente 6, the competition promoted by the Comune di Napoli in collaboration with SPICI and Fabbrica Italiana dell’Innovazione – and delving into the topics of entrepreneurship, business creation, and open innovation through laboratory and experiential activities.

An experience designed to make the classroom content more tangible and strengthen the link between training, guidance and professional future.
