UniCredit Start Lab: registrations are open for the Call 2026 for startups and innovative SMEs

UniCredit has opened applications for the Call 2026 of UniCredit Start Lab, now in its thirteenth edition, aimed at innovative startups and high-potential SMEs interested in embarking on a structured growth and development path for their business.
Applications will remain open until 6:00 PM on 25 March 2026.
A structured support programme
The 50 selected entities will access a comprehensive programme that combines entrepreneurial development, training, networking, and financial support, with the aim of strengthening the competitiveness of businesses and facilitating their market access.
In particular, UniCredit Start Lab offers:
access to qualified corporates and investors;
business matching opportunities with the UniCredit network;
support for internationalisation processes;
an annual Startup Academy with advanced managerial training;
personalised mentorship with innovation experts;
specialist consultancy from selected partners.
Financial support
The programme also includes:
grants of 10,000 euros for the best projects in each sector;
support from a dedicated UniCredit Relationship Manager for access to tailored banking and financial services.
Relevant sectors
The Call 2026 is open to projects from the following sectors:
Innovative Made in Italy (Agrifood, Fashion & Design, Nanotechnology, Robotics, Mechanics, Tourism, Industry 5.0);
Digital (AI, SaaS, B2B Services & Platform, Hardware, Fintech, IoT);
Life Science (Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Digital Health, Assistive Technologies);
Clean Tech (Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Sustainable Mobility, Waste Treatment);
Impact Innovation (products and services capable of generating a social or environmental impact).
