Zhongguancun Forum 2021 – 100 Best Industrial Innovations for International Technology Transfer
ANNOUNCEMENT FOR SELECTION OF SMES, INNOVATIVE STARTUPS, SPINOFFS AND RESEARCH GROUPS
TO ACCOMPANY IN INTERNATIONALISATION PATHS TOWARD CHINA
Launched in 2007, the Zhongguancun (ZGC) Forum reaches its thirteenth edition this year, affirming itself as an international collaboration platform on science, innovation, and new technologies.
The ZGC Forum aims to strengthen the exchange of knowledge, talents, and skills, fostering meetings between leading experts, innovative companies, academics, and government representatives.
The programme is promoted by the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology, the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, and the Government of the Beijing Municipality; in Europe, it is coordinated by SPICI srl – Società per l’Innovazione, la Cooperazione e l’Internazionalizzazione and the International Technology Transfer Network, in collaboration with InnovUp - the association representing the Italian innovation ecosystem -, the Fondazione Italia Cina and ENRICH - the network promoted by the European Commission with centres and hubs that promote the internationalisation of European science, technology, and innovation (STI).
In the last edition, Italy was represented by about 100 innovative companies that achieved excellent results. The solutions presented by several of them were included in the prestigious list of “Top Technologies” among those introduced to the work.

Participate in the online edition of the ZGC Forum which will be held from 26 to 28 September 2021 by completing the registration form in English. The form consists of about 30 questions divided into 7 sections. The information to be provided includes contact details, information about the organization, the developed project/solution and its description, information on the type of collaboration intended with China, and information about team members.
The deadline to submit the application is 31/07/2021.
The programme of activities will be rich and diverse, with a group of experts evaluating the applications received and selecting the best projects to have access to remote meetings with companies, government administrations, research centres, investors, and potential commercial partners.
