"Win in Suzhou Win the Future”: Notredame, Ponics and Plumstars win the Italian stage

Notredame, Ponics e Plumstars have won the Italian stage of the international contest “Win in Suzhou Win the Future”, a challenge initiated in 2011 in Suzhou, one of China’s major industrial and commercial cities, dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship in the scientific and technological sectors.

Each of the 10 startups participating in the competition was given a 10-minute slot: 6 minutes to present their technology\solution plus 4 minutes to answer the experts' questions. The three winning companies will gain access to the final that will take place in the coming months.

Spici coordinated the participation of the 7 Italian startups that took part in the competition held online on May 26th. Among the bilateral sessions with various countries (Japan, Singapore, North America, France, UK, Sweden), a special session was dedicated to Italy - China cooperation (Suzhou), aimed at finding significant research projects to enhance collaboration between the two countries.

The strong and established relationship with the Government of Suzhou led Spici to establish at its headquarters in Naples, in collaboration with the ITTN-International Technology Transfer Network, the “Suzhou Centre for Innovation and International Entrepreneurship” which, amongst other activities, promotes this contest.
