A series of seminars on Emerging Technologies and the Creative Industry organized with SPICI at the University Federico II of Naples

The seminar series titled “Cultural and Creative Enterprises and Emerging Technologies: Meetings with the Protagonists” will begin on 23 October 2024. It is an initiative organised by Luigi Amodio, a professor of Digital Media, as part of the Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication and Digital Media Engineering at the University of Naples Federico II, in collaboration with SPICI srl (Society for Innovation, Cooperation and Internationalisation).

A rich and varied programme The series includes a number of meetings with experts from start-ups and SMEs in the metropolitan area of Naples, who will share their experiences and knowledge on emerging technologies applied to the cultural and creative industry. The seminars are open to the public and represent a unique opportunity to engage with new ideas and technologies.

Topics at the centre of the meetings

• On 23 October, the NapulEth team will introduce Web3, exploring the potential of this technology.

• On 30 October, Valentina Russo and Azzurra Mancini from Logogramma will discuss Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing.

• On 6 November, Nicola Nazareno Pirozzi, Co-Founder and CEO of Billd, will delve into other applications of Artificial Intelligence.

• On 13 November, Giuseppe Abagnale, Game designer at SPICI srl, will focus on Gaming and gamification.

• The series will conclude on 20 November with Luca Ricciardi Serafino de Conciliis from SPICI srl and Andrea Speranza, Founder and CEO of the start-up Zeronetto, who will present products and apps for Digital storytelling.

Where and when The meetings will take place at the College of Engineering, via Nuova Agnano 30-38, Naples, in Room NA-II-A11 (second floor), from 15:30 to 17:00.
