Karan Oroumchi

UI/UX Engineer

UI/UX Engineer at Officina Digitale. Passionate about art, technology, and innovation, his career as a multidisciplinary creative spans UI/UX design, app development, and a solid foundation in architecture, gained through a degree in Architectural Engineering and a Master's in Design for the Built Environment. In 2021, he won the "The Museum That Will Be" competition with the Green Transitus proposal for the National Archaeological Museum of Naples (MANN) in 2021. His passion for technology led him to the Apple Developer Academy, where he spent a year mastering iOS development and user-centered design. Before this, as Lead UI/UX Designer for the Aura research program, he developed an app for the Department of Architecture of the University of Naples Federico II (UNINA DiArc), which showcased a city network of air purification systems, providing data on air quality and plant characteristics. Recently, he launched FR4ME, an app for finding movies with an interactive and dynamic interface. Additionally, he has designed independent apps like Müdy, Spectral, and Stacks, and developed indie games such as HazeOut and MoonSlide. With a diverse background and a flair for innovation, he creates holistic, functional, and deeply engaging digital experiences.
