Spici and the international dimension

On Friday, 10th March, we received at the Technological Hub of San Giovanni a Teduccio at the University of Naples Federico II the visit of a group of young women from the Tunisian Universities and Parthenope University, accompanied by Prof. Chiara Cannavale, Full Professor of Cross-Cultural Management and International Marketing at the University of Naples Parthenope.

The visit is part of the project INSAF-FEM, Social Innovation and Technology for Better Employability of Tunisian Women, funded by the European Union and coordinated by the University of Cadiz (Spain), with partners including the University of Sfax (Tunisia) and for the Campania region, the University of Naples Parthenope​.

The project aims to promote the employment of Tunisian women by strengthening their technological skills starting in the communication sector.

Our company, SPICI srl, was chosen by the University of Naples Parthenope as an example of a leading company in the sector of Female Empowerment, with a team predominantly composed of women and also a predominantly female management group.

The students had the opportunity to visit the Apple Academy, and have a training session with the female team of SPICI who presented their approach to topics such as Female Empowerment and the numerous activities carried out by SPICI within its core business, particularly Digital Transformation, Internationalisation, Acceleration, Urban Regeneration, Social Innovation.

The visit concluded with the presentation of the case of Logogramma  - an award-winning innovative start-up in the AI sector co-founded by a group of women, Dr. Valentina Russo and Dr. Azzurra Mancini, who shared their experience. A fascinating and constructive day that allowed us to strengthen our international initiatives in the context of interculturality and Female Entrepreneurship.
