Finalist startups selected for the China Overseas Talents Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition 2024

The semi-final of the prestigious China Overseas Talents Competition 2024 was held in Naples on Sunday 26 May, at the Apple Developer Academy of the University of Naples Federico II.
The event, promoted by SPICI srl - Società per l’Innovazione, la Cooperazione e l'Internazionalizzazione and the International Technology Transfer Network (ITTN), was organised in collaboration with InnovUp, Italy China Council Foundation - ICCF, Fabbrica Italiana dell'Innovazione and the University of Naples Federico II.
Out of the 50 expressions of interest from innovative Startups and SMEs across the country, 17 innovative companies were selected to present their technological solutions to a panel of Chinese and Italian experts and investors.
From the introductory speeches by Dr. Vincenzo Lipardi, President of SPICI srl, and Dr. John Zhang, Secretary General of the International Technology Transfer Network (ITTN), a strong willingness and need to strengthen cooperation between Italy and China emerged, on topics already highlighted during the Italy-China Business Dialogue Forum in Verona, an area where SPICI srl has boasted years of established experience.
The 10 companies selected to participate in the Final Competition in July in China are: ACT Blade Europe, AITEM, MinervaS, SmartBug, Airizon, Biomedical Lab, Circe, A.I. Tech srl, Soonapse srl, Advanced Electronics Biosystem, and they will receive a cash prize covering travel and expenses.
