Repower Special Award for Innovation - Gaetano Marzotto Award, kicking off the third edition

The third edition of the Repower Special Prize for Innovation within the Gaetano Marzotto Prize – 2031 returns on 22 October in Milan.
Considered the most significant recognition at the European level for the world of innovation, the Gaetano Marzotto Prize brings together over one hundred active partners, 25 large Italian and international corporations, 28 incubators/accelerators, the institutional system, category associations, banks, and investors including Amazon, Microsoft, EY, Invitalia, Cofindustria, PoliHub, and UniCredit.
The Special Prize for Innovation is organized by Repower - a leading company in the energy sector - to promote young ideas capable of impacting the world through innovative and sustainable projects.
This year, the 6 finalist startups are:
Open Impact: a data-driven digital platform based on machine learning that measures the social and environmental impact of companies, to analyze the sustainability level of structures using innovative technologies.
Remodule: a testing protocol that certifies the reuse of discarded cells from automotive battery packs in stationary storage applications, to reduce disposal costs and emissions from car manufacturers.
Seares: develops and transforms into an industrial product Seadamp Plus, the international patent granted in Europe and the USA, for an energy-recovery mooring system that exploits wave energy.
Measy: a professional vehicle for urban deliveries, capable of preserving the integrity and temperature of the transported product thanks to technologies based on artificial intelligence.
Savebiking: an application involving urban and sporting cyclists, rewarding and motivating them to become clients of bike-friendly e-commerce and hotels, insurance, banks, partnered utilities, and actively sponsor social or ecological impact causes.
The Museum That Doesn't Exist: an application created by the cultural association AMAMI to create a personalized virtual museum based on users' interests.
The projects will be evaluated by a jury of experts from the worlds of entrepreneurship, finance, architecture, and journalism, including:

Andrea Gianotti, Head of Sole 24Ore Study Centre;
Eleonora Chioda, Editor-in-Chief of Millionaire;
Emil Abirascid, Journalist, Founder and Director of Startupbusiness;
Luciano Galimberti, Architect and President of the Industrial Design Association;
Makio Hasuike, Architect and Designer; Tiziana Monterisi, Founder of Rice-House;
Italo Rota, Architect and Designer;
Luca Travaglini, Founder and co-CEO of Planet Farms
The winner will be announced on 19 November at the national final of the tenth edition of the Gaetano Marzotto Prize.
