Naples and Canada: innovation and sustainability in comparison

The fourth meeting of the Acceleration and Incubation Programme of Infiniti Mondi – Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti di Napoli, titled "Canada - Italy Bridge: Pathways to Growth Towards Canada", was met with great enthusiasm.

The event, held at the Polo Tecnologico Fabbrica Italiana dell'Innovazione on Via Ponte dei Granili 32 in Naples and broadcast live on the SPICI LinkedIn Page, saw significant participation, confirming the strong interest in business opportunities and international collaboration between Italy and Canada.

The session opened with greetings from Mariangela Contursi, General Manager of SPICI srl – Society for Innovation, Cooperation, and Internationalisation, who emphasized the importance of the project “Infiniti Mondi – Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti di Napoli”, an initiative of the Municipality of Naples funded by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy.

The event featured distinguished guests such as Valeria Fascione, Councillor for Research, Innovation, and Start-ups of the Campania Region; Sameena Qureshi, Trade Commissioner at the Embassy of Canada in Italy; and Costanza Conti, Scientific Attaché at the Embassy of Italy in Ottawa.

The discussion continued with contributions from Federica Feltrin of SIMEST Spa and Ruggiera Sarcina, Director of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada.

The highlight of the day was the roundtable titled “Roundtable - Italy-Canada Connections: Experiences and Best Practices", moderated by Valentina Battista, Institutional Relations Manager at Materias.
