From 18 to 22 July 2022, the Summer School CI-LAM

The fourth edition of the Summer School organized by the CI-LAM, China-Italy Joint Laboratory on Advanced Manufacturing, and promoted for Italy by the University of Bergamo, the University of Naples Federico II, while for China by a group of innovative entities coordinated by Tsinghua University in Beijing, is underway.

The CI-LAM Summer School will take place from 18th to 22nd July 2022, with dual daily sessions in a hybrid format, both online and in person.

This year, two physical classrooms, one in Bergamo and the other in Beijing, will be connected online, allowing participants to engage in discussions on topics related to Industry 4.0.

Thanks to the online format, participation from other countries is also possible.

The Summer School is aimed at students enrolled in a master's degree course in Engineering or a PhD course in the engineering field. The application must be submitted by 12:00 pm on Friday, 1st July 2022.

The CI-LAM bilateral platform, established in 2017, aims to promote research and development in advanced manufacturing between Italy and China and is targeted at researchers, students, and workgroups from partner universities. The project networks the laboratories and enables joint research activities, assisting operators in the manufacturing sector innovation ecosystem, especially small and medium-sized enterprises and startups, by helping them through the digital transformation process and promoting matchmaking activities. As part of the project, training, exchange, and mobility programs for students, academics, and professionals are also planned.
