Great success for the day of Thursday, 30 March, for the 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐀 𝐈𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐕𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐃𝐀𝐘. Hosted by the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, within the Polo Tecnologico di San Giovanni a Teduccio, numerous high-profile personalities attended the event.

The meeting was moderated by 𝐃𝐫.𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐨, co-founder of SPICI and a profound connoisseur of China. Attending the event was 𝐃𝐫. 𝐋𝐢𝐮 𝐉𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐡𝐨𝐮, a member of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Italy and the Deputy Counselor for Science and Technology, who presented an overview of the established cooperation between Italy and China in the field of Innovation.

Subsequently, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐨 𝐁𝐨𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐨 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬, Director of the Academy “Italy China Council Foundation” with a decade of experience managing educational and managerial development projects in intercultural contexts between Italy and China, spoke. Dr. Boggio Ferraris provided a comprehensive and in-depth overview of the culture, scenarios, and opportunities in China.

The day continued with a testimony about Huawei by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐨 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐨 and 𝐃𝐫. 𝐃𝐢𝐞𝐠𝐨 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞, respectively Head of Industry Ecosystem Development and Cloud Business Development Manager.

Participants also had the pleasure of listening to 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐚, with twenty years of experience in China and Founder of the award-winning start-up Zero Netto, which focuses on education for Sustainable Development. The project aims to create a new teaching method through books that narrate the goals of sustainability, books that are stories to read, colour, and magical games.

Finally, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐏𝐚𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐆𝐚𝐢 from Embedded Software Lab presented a case study of Huawei in the automotive sector.

It was a day rich in shared experiences, with a focus on 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲. The meeting aimed to dismantle the common prejudice that views China as a mere “factory of the world,” portraying the country as it truly is: a technological superpower with an internationally significant innovation ecosystem.
