Two scholarships: applications open until 30th July

The deadline for the allocation of the two scholarships, lasting 12 months, promoted by Spici and dedicated to “Research and development activities of high-tech IT solutions, Cloud Native and AI based”, is set for 30th July.  

The initiative is aimed at young graduates who have not exceeded the age of 28. Applications must be submitted no later than 30th July. The two winners will have the opportunity to delve into the following topics: design and software development of complex projects on the following themes: Machine Learning, Blockchain, Mobile Apps, digital transformation, alternating on-the-job training with theoretical training moments. 

The annual amount of each scholarship is €18,000. 

The scholarships are named in memory of the dear Prof. Antonio Picariello, a founding member of SPICI, who passed away prematurely in June 2020, so that a new generation of young professionals can carry on his work, which is the result of a remarkable synthesis between scientific skills and ingenuity, innate curiosity and enthusiasm in the face of new horizons and opportunities, broad vision and effective practicality, exceptional willingness and trusting openness towards others, great ability to inspire, to involve and to work as a team.

Antonio Picariello had a charismatic, open, engaging smile; he achieved internationally acclaimed scientific goals without ever losing his simplicity. These Scholarships aim to contribute to the growth of a new generation of engineers and innovators, recognized and appreciated in Italy and around the world, who can carry forward his commitment and values.
