CTE of Naples “Infiniti Mondi”: Notice for the selection of 20 Startups & SMEs for the training workshop on AI 3D Modeling & Digital Fabrication (8-9 October 2025, Naples)

As part of the activities of the Emerging Technologies House “Infiniti Mondi – Napoli Innovation City”, promoted by the Municipality of Naples and funded by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, the notice is published for the selection of 20 startups and SMEs interested in participating, free of charge, in the intensive training and laboratory workshop on “AI 3D Modeling & Digital Fabrication”, which will be held on 8 and 9 October 2025 in Naples, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, at the Technological Laboratories of CTE Napoli at the Real Albergo dei Poveri, in Piazza Carlo III n.1.
The initiative is part of the activity line WP2 – Skills development for enterprises – and aims to enhance the Emerging Technologies skills of companies operating in the field of Cultural and Creative Industries, in terms of AI 3D MODELING & DIGITAL FABRICATION.
The initiative is promoted by Cefriel, the Italian digital innovation centre founded by the Politecnico di Milano and the University of Naples Federico II, in collaboration with Medaarch S.r.l. S.t.p. The organizing body is Smart Malico S.r.l., a company specializing in the design, implementation, and management of innovation laboratories and advanced training paths for smart cities and smart communities.
The Notice
The Notice is intended for the selection of 20 companies that will have the opportunity to participate, free of charge, in the intensive training and laboratory workshop on “AI 3D Modeling & Digital Fabrication”, which will be held on 8 and 9 October 2025 in Naples, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, at the Technological Laboratories of CTE Napoli at the Real Albergo dei Poveri, in Piazza Carlo III n.1.
The intensive program is designed to introduce key concepts and provide practical skills in the use of advanced modelling and digital fabrication technologies, with the aim of promoting innovation and optimizing production processes through a practical and laboratory approach.
During the two-day period, participants will be involved in a highly immersive and practical experience and will have the opportunity to learn how to apply Generative Artificial Intelligence in creative and design processes aimed at creating 3D models, integrate emerging technologies into digital fabrication flows, analyze best practices and international case studies that combine digital production and design, develop and present an original modelling and digital fabrication project.
Eligibility
The Notice is open to startups and SMEs, operating in the sectors of the cultural and creative industry with legal and/or operational headquarters in Italy, which demonstrate economic interest, research and development on the territory of the Metropolitan City of Naples in the reference sectors of Infiniti Mondi.
By Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) we mean, by way of example and not exhaustively:

· MUSIC
· CREATIVE DRIVEN SECTORS (fashion, packaging, consulting, agri&foodtech etc.).
Each company can submit only one application.
Participants are required to have a good knowledge of the English language.
Type of non-financial support
The training program, provided free of charge, constitutes non-financial support for the participating startups and small and medium enterprises. The value of this support is €75 per hour of lesson for each participating company, with a total value of €1,200.
The non-financial support will be provided in accordance with the “de minimis” regime referred to in EU Regulation 1407/2013.
The non-financial support referred to in this Notice is compatible with other State Aids according to the limits provided by Article 5 of Regulation (EU) No. 1407/2013.
Application Procedure
Applications under this Notice must be submitted by the Proposer exclusively by completing the Application Form (Annex A) and sent via PEC to the address: smartmalico@legalmail.it.
The application must be submitted by the legal representative of the company.
Applications must be sent no later than 17/09/2025.
