CTE of Naples “Infiniti Mondi”: Notice for the selection of 20 Startups & SMEs for the training workshop on AI 3D Modeling & Digital Fabrication (8-9 October 2025, Naples)

As part of the activities of the Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti "Infiniti Mondi – Napoli Innovation City", promoted by the Comune di Napoli and financed by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, the notice is published for the selection of 20 startups and SMEs interested in participating, free of charge, in the intensive and hands-on training workshop on “AI 3D Modeling & Digital Fabrication”, to be held on 8 and 9 October 2025 in Naples, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, at the Technological Laboratories of CTE Napoli at the Real Albergo dei Poveri, Piazza Carlo III n.1.

The initiative is part of the WP2 activity line – Development of skills for enterprises – and aims to enhance the skills in Emerging Technologies of companies operating in the field of Cultural and Creative Industries, concerning AI 3D MODELING & DIGITAL FABRICATION.

The initiative is promoted by Cefriel, the Italian digital innovation centre founded by the Politecnico di Milano and the University of Naples Federico II, in collaboration with Medaarch S.r.l. S.t.p. The organising entity is Smart Malico S.r.l., a company specialised in the design, implementation, and management of innovation laboratories and advanced training courses for smart cities and smart communities.

The Notice
The Notice is aimed at the selection of 20 enterprises that will have the opportunity to participate, free of charge, in the intensive and hands-on training workshop on “AI 3D Modeling & Digital Fabrication”, to be held on 8 and 9 October 2025 in Naples, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, at the Technological Laboratories of CTE Napoli at the Real Albergo dei Poveri, Piazza Carlo III n.1.
The intensive course is designed to introduce key concepts and provide practical skills in the use of advanced modeling and digital fabrication technologies, with the aim of promoting innovation and optimizing production processes through a practical and hands-on approach.

During the two days, participants will be engaged in a highly immersive and practical experience and will have the opportunity to learn how to apply Generative Artificial Intelligence in creative and design processes aimed at creating 3D models, integrating emerging technologies into digital fabrication workflows, analyzing best practices and international case studies combining digital production and design, developing and presenting an original digital modeling and fabrication project.

Who can participate
The Notice is open to startups and SMEs, operating in the cultural and creative industry sectors with a legal and/or operational headquarters in Italy, which demonstrate economic interest, research, and development in the territory of the Metropolitan City of Naples in the sectors of reference of Infiniti Mondi.

With Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI) this includes, by way of example and not limited to:
· CULTURAL HERITAGE
· AUDIOVISUAL SECTOR
· GAMING AND GAMIFICATION
· TOURISM
· COMMUNICATION AND NEW MEDIA
· PERFORMING ART, VISUAL ARTS & SHOW BUSINESS
· ARCHITECTURE, DESIGN, ARTISTIC CRAFTS
· LITERATURE, BOOKS AND PUBLISHING· EDUCATIONAL
· MUSIC
· CREATIVE DRIVEN SECTORS (fashion, packaging, consulting, agri&foodtech etc.).

Each company may submit only one application.
Participants are required to have a good knowledge of the English language.

Type of non-financial support
The training program, offered free of charge, provides non-financial support to participating startups and small and medium-sized enterprises. The value of this support is equal to €75 per hour of lessons for each participating company, for a total value of €1,200.

The non-financial support will be provided under the “de minimis” regime as per EU Regulation 1407/2013.
The non-financial support under the present Notice is compatible with other State Aids under the limits provided pursuant to Article 5 of Regulation (EU) no. 1407/2013.

How to participate
The submission of applications under the present Notice must be made by the Proposer exclusively by completing the Application Form (Annex A) and sending it via PEC to the address: smartmalico@legalmail.it.
The application must be submitted by the company's legal representative.

Applications must be submitted by no later than 17/09/2025.
