Creative Lab Startup concluded: ideas, connections, and new perspectives for young innovators

The Creative Startup Lab was successfully concluded, an educational path designed and managed by SPICI – Società per l’Innovazione, la Cooperazione e l’Internazionalizzazione, as part of the initiative CREATIVE – Metropolitan Festival of Youth Cultures, promoted by the Metropolitan City of Naples and the Teatro di San Carlo Foundation, with the support of the University of Naples Federico II and Officine San Carlo.
The lab accompanied a select group of young people through an intensive practical and workshop-based path aimed at stimulating the development of entrepreneurial, creative, and transversal skills through educational activities, practical sessions, and team work, with the ultimate goal of simulating the creation of a startup.
An event looking to the future
During the final meeting, time was dedicated to presenting the upcoming opportunities aimed at participants: on one hand, the initiatives launched by SPICI, including events, programmes and projects supporting innovation and entrepreneurship; on the other, the educational offerings of the university ecosystem, with a particular focus on the Academies and excellence courses of the University Federico II, increasingly oriented towards developing skills required in the world of work and innovation.
The central moment: the Pitch Session
The heart of the day was the Pitch Session, where the participant teams presented their entrepreneurial ideas to an evaluation jury composed of:
Clara Amadigi, Project Manager of Fabbrica Italiana dell’Innovazione
Luigi Amodio, Head of the Education, Training and Social Innovation Department at SPICI
Daniela Bozza, Content Director and Project Manager Creative
Through the pitches, participants had the opportunity to present the entrepreneurial projects they had been working on over the months, putting into practice the skills acquired, honing their communication ability, and engaging with industry experts, receiving constructive feedback and guidance for future developments.
At the conclusion of the day, the final ranking of the projects presented was announced:
Snap the Clue – transforms the visit to Naples into an interactive and authentic experience, where visitors can discover the city by immersing themselves in its stories and meeting its inhabitants.
Fattel App.er – a community of “walkers” exploring the city of Naples
Relhub – a physical hub dedicated to circular fashion, where people can easily and sustainably sell, rent or recycle their clothes
QG – a digital marketplace connecting creative freelancers with recruiting entities and companies
P.a.M.M. - a professional social network for artists and entertainment operators, facilitating job search and collaborations
A result that rewards the commitment, creativity, and vision of the participants, and opens new avenues of development for the ideas presented.
The day concluded with an informal moment of networking and dialogue, fostering the establishment of new connections among participants, jury members, mentors, and present stakeholders.
SPICI's commitment to new generations
Through the Creative Lab Startup, SPICI reaffirms its commitment to supporting young talent and promoting concrete, accessible, and sustainable entrepreneurial growth paths.
