The final event of the "Infiniti Mondi" Incubation Program kicks off in Naples: in the Sala Giunta, the Pitch Competition and the Startup Awards Ceremony

As part of the “Infiniti Mondi - Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti di Napoli” project, promoted by the Comune di Napoli and funded by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy under the Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti call for the support of 5G technologies, the final event of the second cycle of the Incubation Programme will take place on Monday, 5th May 2025, from 14:30 to 17:30, at the Sala Giunta di Palazzo San Giacomo, featuring a pitch competition of the participating startups and the award ceremony for those who participated in the first and second cycle of the programme.
This appointment represents an important opportunity to showcase the results achieved by the programme, which has supported numerous emerging entrepreneurial realities engaged in sectors such as Metaverse, Web 3.0, Gaming, Digital Storytelling, Quantum Computing, and 5G, with particular attention to the world of Cultural and Creative Industries. The entire project fits into a strategic vision of urban and territorial development based on innovation, inclusion, and technology transfer.
The Incubation Programme of CTE Napoli is coordinated by partner SPICI srl, with operational support from the Fabbrica Italiana dell’Innovazione, and involves a qualified partnership consisting of universities, research centres, and innovative enterprises of national significance. The programme has been distinguished by its ability to support startups at a crucial phase of their growth, offering concrete tools to consolidate high-potential entrepreneurial projects.
The meeting will begin with the official greetings from Maria Grazia Falciatore, Chief of Staff of the Comune di Napoli, Vincenzo Lipardi, President of SPICI srl, and Angelo Giuliana, General Director of the Meditech Competence Center. It will be followed by the presentation of the results of the first cycle by Mariangela Contursi, General Director of SPICI srl. The startups of the second cycle will then present their projects during the Pitch Session, conducted by Clara Amadigi, Project Manager of the programme and Fabbrica Italiana dell’Innovazione.
The Mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, will speak.
Regarding the initiative, Maria Grazia Falciatore, Chief of Staff of the Comune di Napoli, stated: “With the ‘Infiniti Mondi’ project, Naples reaffirms its role as a city of innovation and culture. The synergy between institutions, universities, and enterprises represents a virtuous model that promotes sustainable development, youth employment, and talent appreciation. This event is the concrete demonstration of the municipal administration's commitment to building an inclusive and competitive ecosystem, able to look to the future with confidence.”
The entrepreneurial proposals will be evaluated by a multidisciplinary jury, representing the academic, economic, and cultural worlds, which will determine the most innovative and strategic startups. At the conclusion of the event, there will be the award ceremony, with the delivery of certificates.
The event constitutes a moment of synthesis and relaunch of the innovation policies initiated in the territory, offering visibility and recognition to the involved startups and consolidating the dialogue between public and private actors engaged in building the future economy.
As part of the Infiniti Mondi project, the Comune di Napoli is the leader of a partnership that includes the Universities of Naples Federico II and L’Orientale, the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples, the Cefriel Digital Innovation Center at the Polytechnic University of Milan, the MedITech 4.0 research and innovation centres, CNR - Institute of Heritage Science, and CeRICT Scarl, as well as innovative enterprises like Tim, Spici, and One More Pictures.
