SPICI srl and Fabbrica Italiana dell'Innovazione stand with the family, along with the many colleagues and friends who mourn the passing of Gino Nicolais today, a prominent figure in the science and research politics of our country. 

Nicolais, even when holding prestigious national positions - such as Minister of Innovation and P.A. first, and later as President of CNR - never failed to ensure his reassuring and wise presence in this territory. Even with his latest venture, Materias, he was among the main protagonists of the regional and national innovation ecosystem; an ecosystem that owes him much and will surely learn from and benefit from his example as an indefatigable supporter of research, science, and technology, in the service of humanity and a fairer world.
