Workshop on scientific and cultural cooperation between Iran and Italy as part of the Iranian Week of Research and Technology: registrations open

On 17th December, there will be a panel promoting scientific, technological, and cultural cooperation between Iran and Italy. Opportunities for interaction and technological transfer between universities, incubators, research centres, and scientific and technological parks of the two countries will be discussed.

The workshop is promoted by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology and coordinated on the Italian side by SPICI – Società per l’Innovazione, la Cooperazione e l’Internazionalizzazione. It is organized within the framework of the Iranian Week of Research and Technology, the largest Iranian event on scientific cooperation.

Speakers will include Prof. Hossein Salar Amoli, Iranian Deputy Minister for International Scientific Cooperation; Dr. Abdolsadeh Neisy, Director of the Office for Research and Technology Support of the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology; H.E. Giuseppe Perrone, Ambassador of Italy to the Islamic Republic of Iran; H.E. Hamid Bayat, Ambassador of Iran to Italy; Dr. Vincenzo Lipardi, President of SPICI; Prof. Giorgio Ventre, Director of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Naples Federico II; Prof. Carlo Cereti, Former Cultural Attaché at the Italian Embassy in Tehran; Dr. Mohammad R. Movahhedy, Vice President for Research and Technology at Sharif University of Technology.

The Italian Embassy in Tehran has been invited.
