WORKSHOP - AI 3D MODELING & DIGITAL FABRICATION
Overview
An intensive two-day training and laboratory workshop (13 and 14 November 2025, 9:30 am - 5:30 pm) aimed at 20 startups and SMEs, held at the Technological Laboratories of CTE Napoli at the Real Albergo dei Poveri. The course introduced advanced digital prototyping and fabrication technologies, with a particular focus on the application of Generative Artificial Intelligence to creative and design processes. Through tools such as Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, and Meshy, the businesses transformed two-dimensional ideas into three-dimensional models ready for printing, exploring the entire process from image generation to G-Code creation.
Objective
Provide practical skills in using generative AI for 3D modelling and integrating digital fabrication technologies, from the initial concept to the printable prototype.
Created as part of the Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti di Napoli (House of Emerging Technologies of Naples), promoted by the Municipality of Naples and funded by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT).
