RESTORING MEMORY
Overview
An integrated digital platform for the valorisation of the Real Albergo dei Poveri in Naples, designed as a living and participatory archive of the complex's memories. The system allows for the collection, moderation, and publication of textual and multimedia testimonies, organising them by historical periods, themes, and spaces within the building, and making them accessible via a web portal, thematic itineraries, StoryMaps, and a mobile application featuring Augmented Reality content. The solution combines an Odoo backend for editorial management and an app developed in Unity for the mobile and AR experience.
Objective
To preserve and enhance the historical memory of the Real Albergo dei Poveri through an accessible, immersive, and participatory digital ecosystem.
The Prototype is developed as part of the Design Pre-intervention service of the European Digital Innovation Hub – Heritage Smart Lab (EDIH - HSL).
