Jalapeno San Juan

Overview

During the Global Game Jam 2024, Jalapeño San Juan was developed—an endless game with dynamic and progressive gameplay, where players face increasingly complex challenges while experiencing engagement mechanics and game design. The player controls a chilli pepper running non-stop to accumulate points and overcome obstacles. The game scenario unfolds on a three-lane road, featuring a dynamic background inspired by Naples, which shows Mount Vesuvius in the distance and a smiling sun illuminating the path.

Objective

Build a support and attraction hub for companies and new enterprises active in the gaming and gamification sectors.

The project is carried out as a use case within the framework of the Casa delle Tecnologie Emergenti di Napoli (House of Emerging Technologies of Naples), promoted by the Municipality of Naples and funded by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT).
