The 100 Best Innovations for International Technology Transfer - China ZGC Forum 2021

The Competition to identify the “100 Best Innovations for International Technology Transfer” was organised as part of the 2021 edition of the China Zhongguancun (ZGC) Forum, with the aim of promoting cooperation in technology trade and selecting the 100 Best Innovations at an international level to facilitate technology transfer.
The Competition was organised by the International Technology Transfer Network (ITTN), in collaboration with SPICI, and promoted by the China Center for International Science and Technology Exchange (CISTE) and the Management Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park.
More than 2800 technology projects from 36 countries participated in the Competition.
The projects presented focused on 10 technology sectors:
Next-Generation ICT
Smart Manufacturing
Biotechnology and Life Sciences
Energy
Environment and Sustainability
Health Technologies
High-End Equipment
Modern Agriculture
Intelligent Transport
New Materials
14 PROJECTS PROPOSED BY SPICI WERE SELECTED AMONG THE 100 BEST INNOVATIONS
the 100 Best Innovations, after 6 phases of evaluation by 94 international experts specialised in the 10 technology sectors, were selected from over 2800 international candidate projects.
Among these 100 innovations, 14 projects proposed by SPICI were selected including:

3 Italian experts participated in the Final Evaluation
During the Final Evaluation, 3 Italian experts were invited to evaluate the candidate projects:
Professor Plinio Innocenzi (former Scientific Councilor at the Italian Embassy in China and Full Professor at the University of Sassari) evaluated innovations in the “Energy” and “New Materials” sectors.
Professor Giovanni Breglio (Delegate for China of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, University of Naples Federico II) evaluated innovations in the “High-End Equipment” and “Smart Manufacturing” sectors.
Professor Elio Masciari (Associate Professor, University of Naples Federico II) evaluated innovations in the “Next-Generation ICT” and “Intelligent Transport” sectors.
