Each stage of the routes is associated with a MANN artwork, creating a continuous dialogue between museum collections and real places. The app guides the user along digitized cycling routes, enriched with multimedia content and historical-artistic information, transforming the museum into a starting point for a widespread narrative that traverses landscapes, archaeological sites, and the scientific and cultural contexts of the city. MANN in Bike thus proposes an innovative model of cultural enjoyment, accessible and participatory, which combines physical experience with digital storytelling.

The MANN in Bike app was developed by SPICI Srl in collaboration with Hack The Duck Srl, as part of the project “GREENBike East–West–Sea. Naples by bike”, promoted by the National Archaeological Museum of Naples and funded by the National Operational Program (PON) “Culture and Development” 2014–2020.

SPICI oversaw the design and development of the mobile interface, the integration of multimedia content, the implementation of geolocation systems, and the testing and optimisation activities, ensuring a smooth and intuitive experience across various devices. The project contributes to the enhancement of cultural heritage and the promotion of sustainable mobility forms, strengthening the role of the museum as an active cultural hub connected to the territory.
