The ITALIAN ROADSHOW IN JAPAN is an exclusive mission organized by SPICI srl in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Tokyo and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ICCJ), aimed at universities, research centers, and companies to visit the leading innovation hubs in Tokyo and Osaka.
The mission, which will take place in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, from September 21 to 27, 2024, is an unmissable opportunity to explore new partnership and business opportunities in Japan, especially in light of EXPO 2025. Registrations are open until May 30, 2024.

How did the Italian Roadshow in Japan come about?
SPICI is a company highly specialized in the internationalization processes of innovation systems (research/business) and has always been attentive to the opportunities offered by foreign markets for our country. For years, we have been accompanying companies and research entities to international markets to promote new partnerships between Italy and the rest of the world and to create interesting business opportunities.
Within this context, the ITALIAN ROADSHOW IN JAPAN was created to forge connections and partnerships with Japan’s innovation ecosystems—one of the most advanced and competitive countries globally—in anticipation of the opportunities arising with the next edition of the Expo, which will be held in Osaka in 2025.
The mission offers a selected Italian delegation—composed of national representatives from the business, innovation, research, and academic sectors—the opportunity to participate in a high-level program of visits and meetings with some of Japan’s most important Innovation Hubs, Research Centers, Universities, Corporates, SMEs, Incubators, and more. At the same time, they will deepen their knowledge of a country of great charm, which is in a remarkable balance between ancient culture and modernity.
