The “100 Best Industrial Innovations for International Technology Transfer” (100 Best Techs) was organized during the China Zhongguancun (ZGC) Forum 2021. It is aimed at promoting cooperation in technology commercialization and at selecting “100 Best Techs” worldwide to facilitate their technology transfer.

This Competition was organised by ITTN (International Technology Transfer Network), in collaboration with SPICI, and hosted by the China Centre for international Science and Technology Exchange (CISTE) and the Management Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park.

More than 2,800 global outstanding technologies, 70% of which were international projects coming from 36 countries, applied for the Competition.

This year, the projects focused on 10 technology fields:

  • New Generation of ICT
  • Intelligent Manufacturing
  • Biotechnology & Innovative Medicine
  • New Energy
  • Environmental Protection &Sustainable Development
  • High-End medical Device
  • High-End Equipment
  • Modern Agriculture
  • Smart Transportation
  • New Materials

14 projects proposed by SPICI were selected into the FINAL Evaluation of ZGC Forum 2021

After 6 rounds of evaluation by 94 international experts specially invited in the ten fields mentioned above, 100 best technologies were selected out of more than 2,800 international projects.

Among these 100 projects, 14 projects proposed by SPICI were selected into the FINAL Evaluation of the Competition. These include:

3 Italian experts participated Final Evaluation

During the Final Evaluation, 3 Italian outstanding experts were invited to review and assess the projects. Prof. Plinio Innocenzi (Former Scientific Counsellor, Italian Embassy in China and Full Professor, University of Sassari) evaluated the projects in the fields of New Energy and New Materials. Prof. Giovanni Breglio (Delegate for China, Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, University of Naples Federico II) evaluated the fields of High-End Equipment and Intelligent Manufacturing. Prof. Elio Masciari (Associate Professor, University of Naples Federico II) evaluated the fields of New Generation of ICT and Smart Transportation.
