On the occasion of the Zhongguancun Forum, SPICI joined the Network for International Cooperation on Technology Commercialization (NICTC). Promoted, among others, by the International Technology Transfer Network (ITTN) and the China Technology Exchange (CTEX), the network aims to promote international cooperation projects between China and foreign markets as well as to promote technology transfer processes.
Led by the China Center for Science and Technology Exchange (CISTE) and the Zhongguancun Science Park Management Committee, it brings together numerous stakeholders from the Chinese and international innovation ecosystem including incubators, accelerators, trade associations, innovation centers, departments of prestigious universities such as Peking University and Tsinghua University and research institutes including the World Trade Organization Chair (China) Institute.
During the second edition of the World Science and Technology Forum on 9 November, Vincenzo Lipardi, President of SPICI, was appointed member of the international committee of the NICTC together with Prof. Plinio Innocenzi, former Scientific Attaché at the Italian Embassy in China and Prof. Luigi Nicolais, CEO of Materias.
